Halo Reach: Expanded

I'm going to clarify why this game pisses me off: First of all, it is that you watch yourself die. Seriously, in games like COD, you die out of nowhere. This can be a good thing, as it spares you the humiliation of not being able to do anything about it because you're going to die anyway. In Halo, you watch yourself die. Its just the feeling of being helpless that pisses me off. This very, very rarely happens in COD or Battlefield. Another thing that annoys me: The graphics. While they are very good, they had three fucking years to work on it! It should be the best I've ever seen! And yet it's not. The textures, for the most part, look the exact same as Halo 3's. It is only some things that stand out, like the Pillar of Autumn part, in terms of graphics. Whew.

  1. Well here's the problem concerning the graphics. The GPU of the Xbox 360 is severely dated. It's comparable to a 7 series Nvidia card from 5 years ago. The big beef I have with the graphics in Reach is the lack of anti-aliasing. The edges are so jagged and rough its distracting. There's a lot going on on screen in Halo Reach so they can't polish too much without the frame rate dropping dramatically. Pretty much the only thing developers can do to make their games look the best they can is optimize the hell out of the code. If Halo Reach was written for PC it would look gorgeous imo.
