Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

First of all, I'm going to say this was a very fun game. However, like every game, there are tiny little things that just piss me off. The first thing you will notice is that there are DOZENS of people camping in the corners, who can shoot you out of nowhere. Second of all are those fucking boosters. There always seem to be some in every big game. You can tell quite obviously because one has 25 kills and another has 25 deaths. Fuck them. Another thing is the quality of the game. The graphic are basically the same in every recent COD game, and they just seem like they are spitting them out every year just to make a profit. If I were you, I'd wait until black ops and see if that was good, because it's just not worth wasting your money to get this game when a new one is coming out so soon.

Good Things About Reach

Now that I've ranted about the bad things, I'm going to tell you about the good things that they've included in Halo 3. For starters, the whole game looks a lot more lifelike. From a first person point of view your weapon and arms sway realisticly as you run or walk. The switchable upgrades are cool, too. There's sprinting, dropping a shield, jet packs (which are amazing by the way) holograms (where a fake player serves as a distraction) and a few more. I really like the sprinting and jet packs, thought. The battle rifle, the choice of players everywhere, has been replaced by the DMR which is pretty cool. Side note: The reticule expands momentarily every time you shoot, so if you shoot very quick it will be much more inaccurate. There are lots of options to change your armor and emblem and generally customize your stuff. You can actually relativly easily blow up banshees, ghosts, and mongooses with the DMR and other weapons. That's another thing about it too: the vehicles are a lot easier to destroy.

And Now, Another Thing That Should Have Been Fixed

Glitches in Halo Reach. Really?

Halo Reach: Expanded

I'm going to clarify why this game pisses me off: First of all, it is that you watch yourself die. Seriously, in games like COD, you die out of nowhere. This can be a good thing, as it spares you the humiliation of not being able to do anything about it because you're going to die anyway. In Halo, you watch yourself die. Its just the feeling of being helpless that pisses me off. This very, very rarely happens in COD or Battlefield. Another thing that annoys me: The graphics. While they are very good, they had three fucking years to work on it! It should be the best I've ever seen! And yet it's not. The textures, for the most part, look the exact same as Halo 3's. It is only some things that stand out, like the Pillar of Autumn part, in terms of graphics. Whew.

Halo Reach

So, for my first post, I will be talking about Halo Reach, one of the most anticipated games of this year. I'm sorry if this offends anybody, but it just seems like an updated version of Halo 3. Not to say it or Halo 3 isn't/wasn't fun, but really, for three years of work I expected a lot more. The ending is really unsatisfying, and the multiplayer just pisses me off, just like Halo 3's. This is a game that you have to actually want to worth it be buying. That being said, there's a lot of new things included that are pretty cool. All in all, I would recommend this game to any person somewhat fond of Halo 3, but not many other people.
